Welcome to the Web site of travel writer Nancy Pistorius. Nancy has won national awards for journalism and creative writing. She began writing a weekly travel column for the STATE JOURNAL-REGISTER (in Illinois) when she was 17, chronicling her adventures and experiences in Europe. Since then she has published in more than fifty different literary and mass-market publications, including WOMAN'S DAY, COSMOPOLITAN, ILLINOIS TIMES, the CHICAGO TRIBUNE, SOCIAL (Kansas City), the LAWRENCE JOURNAL-WORLD, TRAVELWORLD INTERNATIONAL, SEASONS, and SPRINGFIELD PARENT. She is a member of NATJA (North American Travel Journalists Association) and ITWA (International Travel Writers Alliance).
